Our Origin

From a single workshop
to a denim house.

Chen Denim was born in Karachi, Pakistan in 2019 — a city stitched into the global textile story for over a century. We began as a small workshop with one rule: never cut a corner that anyone wearing the jean would feel.

That rule still runs the floor. Today our team in F 98/G SITE operates two distinct but connected lines: a denim fabric division supplying premium cloth by the roll to brands and manufacturers, and our finished jeanswear collection for end wearers. Same discipline. Same craft. Two paths to market.

We are not the loudest brand in the room. We are the brand the loud brands quietly source from.

2019
Chen Denim is founded in SITE, Karachi, Pakistan. The business begins with denim fabric — supplying mill-grade cloth to garment makers across the city.
2021
First international fabric shipment goes out. The brand identity — gold mark on deep brown — is formalized across all packaging, labels, and tags.
2024
Launch of the Phantom Series — our first finished jeanswear line. Three perfected fits across five signature washes, built from our own fabric.
Today
A vertically integrated denim house — fabric and finished — serving brands, manufacturers, and wearers locally and internationally. The same workshop discipline we started with in 2019.

Every pair passes through six discrete stages, each handled by specialists. No shortcuts. No assembly-line compromises on construction.

01 — Sourcing
Fabric Selection
Five core colors from 11.5oz to 12.5oz, in three fabric builds — 100% Cotton, Stretch, and Poly-Stretch. Right-hand twill, left-hand twill, and broken twill weaves available across the range.

02 — Cutting
Pattern & Cut
A ten-step workflow — design specification, pattern development, pattern check, marking, sizing, then fabric spreading, precision cutting, sorting, QC and bundling — before a single panel reaches the sewing floor.
Chen Denim stitching process — 12 stages of construction
03 — Stitching
Construction
Twelve dedicated stations: front & back join, inseam, fly & zip, pockets, waistband, belt loops, back rise & yoke, hem, bar tacks, final check, thread trim, finished press. Every stitch by a specialist.
Chen Denim in-house wash & finish process
04 — Washing
Wash & Finish
Stone-wash with pumice tumble, enzyme-wash for surface softness, and signature whisker treatments with hand-sanding and laser. A nine-step flow from pre-inspection to ready-to-wear, every recipe developed in-house.
Chen Denim quality control — three-point QC process
05 — Inspection
Three-Point QC
Post-stitch, post-wash, and pre-pack — every pair is laid flat, every seam followed, every button torque-tested. Color, shrinkage, shape retention, cleanliness, and label verification, all checked before sign-off.

06 — Packaging
Tag & Pack
Embossed leather patch, signature hang tag with style code, pocket flasher, woven care label, final check, then folded and sealed in premium polybag. Six stages that turn a finished pair into a complete Chen Denim experience.

What We Stand For

Three rules,
quietly enforced.

Rule 01
Fabric is non-negotiable.
No thin denim that masquerades as premium. Our minimum weight, minimum weave density, and minimum honest construction are set — and they don't move.
Rule 02
Stitching is the soul.
The signature mustard contrast thread isn't decoration — it's a commitment. Every visible stitch is also a structural one, and every structural stitch is also a visible one.
Rule 03
The wearer comes first.
Fit is tested on real bodies, not on dress forms. Comfort is engineered into the pattern, not added through stretch. We build jeans you forget you're wearing.
